Emily Kingyens, Registered Massage Therapist
Fairly new on the scene but no stranger to exceeding expectations, Emily would like to invite you to Danu to be a part of her rapidly growing massage practice. Her warm inviting personality paired with her
in depth knowledge of the human body enables her to provide exceptional rejuvenating massage treatments that will likely end your search for that well rounded therapist. Emily focuses and excels at providing
deep tissue therapeutic massage treatments and also offers pre and post-natal or purely relaxation sessions. In addition to massage she is also a practitioner of the "Arasys Inch Loss System". Since
joining the team this past summer she has elicited rave reviews from clients and fellow Danu team members alike.
Emily's first experience with customer service, stemmed from a love of cooking. She immersed herself in the culinary arts for 7 years prior to pursuing her passion for the sciences and caring for others. She
has been nominated for two consecutive Calgary White Hat Awards and has received several employee achievement awards during that time. Driven into the health care industry by her own aches and pains from kitchen
duties, Emily hoped to help those enduring the same daily discomfort.
Emily is a celebrated honors graduate at the top of her class from Calgary's own CDI College of Business, Technology and Health Care. Her extensive knowledge, and fascination of human physiology and anatomy
give her a unique understanding of many ailments from auto-immune disorders to compression syndromes. These understandings let her confidently and safely treat a wide variety and varying array of conditions.
Emily hopes to work with you to develop effective treatment plans and remedial exercises to enable your body to do what it does best, which is heal itself with proper care and encouragement. Whether you are
the victim of a bad desk chair or suffer from a sport induced soft tissue injury, you will find yourself enjoying an increasingly pain free lifestyle with advice and tips on how to maintain it.
